Less is more in quilling. A little glue goes a long way when applying glue. Keep a damp paper towel to wipe off any excess glue and to keep tools clean.

Make sure you roll the quilling strip with just the right amount of pressure. This ensures that the coil opens up easily and you are able to press the coil into the desired shape.

Lengths
The longer the paper strip, the bigger the shape, and vice versa. Play around with the length of the strip to get the size you need.
